Casey Hudson, Project Director for the original Mass Effect Trilogy, has been praising the team behind the next entry into the franchise. On Twitter, Hudson has said the team was doing “excellent work,” and that the new game looked “Mass Effect-y,” as well as “Beautiful” and “fun and ambitious.” Hudson is not involved with Mass Effect 4, having moved on to undisclosed projects within BioWare.
Little is known about Mass Effect 4, ranging from the title being a MMO or being a co-operative adventure. BioWare has confirmed that Cmdr. Shepard, the protagonist from the original trilogy, has completed his/her story. What effect the controversial ending to Shepard’s saga (if any) will have on Mass Effect 4 remains to be seen as well.
