The next entry in the classic puzzler/platformer Lemmings franchise
is coming to the PlayStation Vita. The game will feature over 100 levels
and will make use of the Vita’s touchscreen capabilities to allow the
player to select individual lemmings and designate their roles. To save
screen space, a radial pop-up menu will appear every time a lemming is
selected. The touchscreen will also be used to aim cannons, set
platforms, and move objects for the cute, green-haired creatures.
Developer d3t is also promising brand new, colorful environments with
plenty of touch objects. d3t also teased that not all lemmings are what
they seem. What does that mean? We will have to find out when more
details for Lemmings Touch are revealed “soon.”
